Word from the Founder

I founded STACK CPA Inc. in 2021 after a professional journey through various CPA and financial advisory firms. When I set out to be an accountant, I always knew my goal was to work for myself. Law was always interesting to me and my natural proclivity for numbers made taxation an easy choice. I set out to understand America’s system from a financial vantage point. Making change by way of finances just made sense. I was fueled by the severe underrepresentation of people of color in the accounting and financial planning world. Less than one percent of certified public accountants are black. This reality reflects the disparity in wealth distribution in America. My vision in creating STACK CPA Inc. was specifically to support women and people of color in understanding the system many of us were never taught.

I am motivated by the idea of doing better, in every way. I am a lifelong student; always looking forward and assessing everything in search of ways to improve them. Having a genuine connection with my clients is paramount. Supporting people in their pursuit of happiness is a privilege that I cherish very much.

And, above all else, I am a mother to boy-girl twins. Inside and outside of the work, my life is about striving to contribute to a brighter future.
